Americans for Legal Immigration endorses Roth in Wisconsin’s 8th CD

The Americans for Legal Immigration Political Action Committee (ALIPAC) is endorsing state Representative Roger Roth in Wisconsin’s 8th Congressional District race.

President of ALIPAC William Gheen said the organization is happy that Roth has “chosen to represent the vast majority of American voters that favor immigration enforcement instead of any form of amnesty for illegal immigrants.”

Roth has always advocated securing our borders and enforcing existing immigration law, and his record in the state legislature proves it.

In the state Assembly, Roth authored legislation to ban sanctuary cities that harbor illegal aliens in Wisconsin, and he fought to ensure that prisoners who are in this country illegally be deported instead of put back on the streets when they are released from jail.

ALIPAC is dedicated to fighting against illegal immigration and amnesty for illegal aliens while seeking a peaceful solution to the crisis that involves Americans of every race, Party, and denomination working together.

“I am honored to have the endorsement of an organization dedicated to stopping the flow of illegal immigrants into this country while recognizing that amnesty is not the answer,” said Roth.

“Because I have always been a strong proponent of securing our borders and I have never supported amnesty, it wouldn’t be surprising if other pro-amnesty groups endorsed those running against me in this race,” said Roth.

While I hate the Roth ‘press release only’ posts, this is an important one to emphasize. What do they say about Ribble? “One of Roger Roth’s opponents, Reid Ribble, made comments while still president of the National Roofers Contractors Association stating he supported the McCain-Kennedy immigration bill that would have paved the way for amnesty. ALIPAC hopes that GOP voters in Wisconsin’s 8th district will reject Reid despite his massive funding advantage;just as the conservative voters in Florida’s 24th district rejected Miller. Congressman Miller fell from his 1rst place lead and finished in 3rd place in this week’s primary elections after it was widely reported that he supported the McCain Kennedy Amnesty bills : while still head of the National Restaurant Association. ALIPAC hopes that Wisconsin voters will reject Reid Ribble due to his prior record supporting Amnesty for illegal aliens and instead will elect an immigration enforcement candidate like Roger Roth.”…

Is ‘borders, language, culture’ and important voting criterion for you?
