The 10th Annual Great Galena Balloon Race is in the air for Friday, June 17 through Sunday, June 19. The weekend is full of activities for the whole family, kicking off on Friday night with an evening of kid’s activities, an Ale Fest for adults, music by The Wundos, balloon launch and tethered rides, concluding with their signature Night Glow Extravaganza displaying all the balloon participants at dark. Food and beverage is available all weekend on the grounds. A free will donation is requested at the door.
The hot air balloon races are held at dawn on both Saturday and Sunday, with more activities planned for Saturday that includes family and kid’s activities, a Collectors Car Show, tethered rides and much more! Musical guests that evening are Taste Like Chicken, followed by another Night Glow Extravaganza at dark.
Eagle Ridge proudly hosts this yearly event with all proceeds going to fund Juvenile Diabetes research and awareness.
